Eligible employers in Stutsman County can receive up to $3,500 in reimbursement for hiring college juniors or seniors as paid interns.

Why Participate?

• Gain access to motivated, skilled students ready to contribute.
• Receive up to 50% of payroll costs reimbursed.
• Support workforce development and long-term talent retention in our region.

To qualify:

• Interns must be paid a minimum of $15/hour.
• Interns must be college juniors, seniors, or within two years of completing their program.
• Employers must apply before the intern begins work.

Updated Program Guidelines:

• Reimbursement is based on 50% of payroll costs, up to $3,500 per intern.
• The internship must take place in Stutsman County.
• JSDC reviews applications quarterly and selects eligible employers based on the availability of funds.
• Internships do not need to be for academic credit (though it is encouraged).
• Employers cannot receive reimbursement for the same intern more than once.
